Finishes from my past

This is the Shih-tzu all framed and ready to give.  My grandma loved it and shows it to anyone who walks in the door.  The frame, I found out later when I went back to Davis Hardware to bring in more framing, is gilded and French-made.  Yikes!  It's prefect for this piece- brings out all of the lavender and silver undertones.  I love it!

I made this for my mother-in-law who loves roosters.  This is still hanging in her kitchen today even though it was one of my first pieces.  It is a Petei.

  1. Nice to have people who appreciate the needlepoint treasures they are given.
