The belt is FINISHED!

Finally!!

It's really hard to get the entire belt in one photo!  So these pictures are terrible!

A bit better is the progress picture on the sweet alligator.

I've also started working on the 3-D turkey again but don't have any pictures to share. One of my needlepoint friends shared a bead website on which I ordered beads this weekend. It's called Fusion beads and they have a wide selection of every type of bead you can imagine. I'll have to share what I bought when they come in. Thank you Mark for the tip!

Stash Sale

Camp was wonderful!!  I had two massages, ran, ate a ton, and stitched!!  I didn't finish anything but I worked on the lab ornament from my last post, the turkey canvas (one set of feathers and the body left to go), and the belt for my dad.

The stash sale was awesome!!  We raised $8,000 for the camp to send 16 kids to camp for a week!!  This was my haul!

And this little Princess and Me piece which I've already started!

Lab ornaments

The last time you saw this piece was around Christmas and it looked like this.

So after a day at Camp Allen with an intense session of encroaching Gobelin and a Carolyn class to finish the details, it is finished!!

I couldn't be happier and all of that encroaching Gobelin was worth it!!

Stash sale

Tomorrow starts another adventure at Camp Allen!!  Part of this relaxing retreat (besides all day needlepoint, eating, and massages) will be the stash sale!!

When I moved in the summer, I really reexamined a lot of canvases into needlepoint life. I sold these on the needlepoint stash exchange website.

I didn't sell the next ones, so I'm bringing them to the stash sale whose proceedes will go to send a kid to camp!
