Almost Done and New Start

Hello!  I'm trying to re-start my blog and realized that I never published this post from June of 2015.  Lots has happened.....  enjoy!

I'm almost done with the digging lab bone. It was put on hold because I wanted to order some Swarovski crystals for the tree ornaments and because I had to finish a book on negotiations for work. Now that my crystals are in and my book is finished. It's time to dig in and finish this piece.

Of course I couldn't resist starting this one!

The real lab that has inspired these canvases. ❤️ Molly

Finishing changes

I got these back from the finisher and they are adorable!  But the hangers were out of proportion with the dresses and sweaters.

So I went online and asked the Facebook needlepoint group where to go to purchase different black, wire doll hangers. The Country Porch had exactly what I was looking for- a 3" hanger. And look at the difference.

More finishes

In Midland, I have a housekeeper, which is something I plan to replicate on Houston when I get back. It's been really nice to be able to needlepoint on the weekends and not worry about cleaning beyond just straightening up.

This is what I have accomplished:  lots of little pieces but I've loved clearing these out of my stash.

The sweaters are stitched mostly in criss cross Hungarian and all of the thread is vineyard merino.

And this is what I'm working on now.

Camp Allen Canvas sale

It's that time of year again!  Time for the annual Camp Allen stash sale!  I love this sale because every single cent goes towards scholarships to send kids to camp.

This is my haul from this year.

This one is completely stitched!
